Sawyer A. Martin

Attorney at Law

Sawyer chose to pursue a career in the legal field in order to help the impoverished and underserved communities in Georgia.  Her calling to help others has been persistent throughout her life, including in her academic endeavors.  From humble beginnings in Williamston, South Carolina, she graduated with a Life Scholarship that eventually led her to the College of Charleston.

Sawyer majored in Communications and graduated Cum Laude and as President of the Honors Society.  She chose to attend New England Law in Boston, Massachusetts, and quickly realized she wanted to work closer to where she grew up. In her time at law school, she established a sexual assault and mental health awareness program for her fellow students.  These initiatives allowed students the opportunity to receive free counseling and to be a part of yearly faculty-led sexual assault awareness programs. Sawyer looks forward to practicing and learning family law from her mentors at the Firm.  She expects to be licensed to practice law in Georgia in 2023 and will work primarily in family law matters.
